VMworld over the years

Over the years I’ve attended as an SE for Varrow hardly knowing anyone, again as an SE knowing more folks, as an SE manager/director with lots of executive briefings, and now for Rubrik as Technical Marketing Manager. I’m quite sure this will be my busiest VMWorld yet – 2 sessions, 2 booth presentations, tons of folks I want to catch up with, and a LOT of general Rubrik craziness + excitement. On Monday, I’ll be jointly presenting with Rebecca Fitzhugh (given it’s VMWorld I think I should mention she’s a VCDX) on Architecting Data Protection and where Rubrik can help. We promise to keep it from being a straight up product pitch. The agenda is….

After that I’ll be presenting a VMTN Community Session on Tuesday – pure education about the ransomware landscape and what you should look for in data protection products if concerned about ransomware. Given it’s a community session, there’s no Rubrik discussion in that one.

Booth Sessions

Aside from that, I’ll be presenting about Rubrik at the Lenovo booth (#314) at 3:45 PM Tuesday) – splitting the time with a magician. There’s a first time for everything.

I’ll later be jointly presenting with Lenovo at the Rubrik booth 3 PM Wednesday.
